Alhumduliallah  Indeed All Praise Is For Allah Alone.

We had an exceptional charity fundraising dinner on Friday the 15th of November in remembering our dear sister Farzana and continuing her legacy.

We are truly the most generous of Ummahs to have come forth and we donate from our wealth like no other ummah.

We would like to thank everybody that attended, supported and donated towards Farzana’s Masjid Project. We know many who have supported this campaign could not attend the event but non the less have been amazingly supportive.

A special Thank You to all those that donated to the Charity Auction and the Lovely Supportive Team at Crescent Hall, who are always so eager to help and support charitable causes and have truly been amazing in their support.

We have now updated the total to include all the additional items which will be part of Farzana’s Masjid Project.

Breakdown:

• Masjid – £8,250 – COMPLETED

Additional Items:

• Classroom for Quran Classes: £5,400
• Solar Power System: £1,500
• Carpet: £1,000
• Wudu Area: £875

Total = £17,000

My name is Farzana Azam and I am organising this fundraiser to raise funds to build a masjid in The Gambia.

I would like this masjid to be an ongoing charity for everyone who donates and supports this project so that it will be a source for us all to have reward from Allah The Almighty in this life and the next.

I am doing this through Sunnah Charity who I completely trust and I have full faith in their work , transparency and honesty. I personally know the people who have set up Sunnah Charity from childhood and have trust in their work and am proud of their 100% Donation Policy where all of our donations are only going to be used for charitable purposes.

It was narrated from Abu Hurairah that the Messenger of Allah said:”When a man dies all his good deeds come to an end except three: Ongoing charity (Sadaqah Jariyah), beneficial knowledge and a righteous son who prays for him.
