Teacher Training in Malawi

Over this week, our team will be travelling to Lilongwe, Mangochi and Blantyre, in Malawi. Adam will be delivering both teaching and leadership training to staff from a number of schools across the country. Over three days of training, Adam will work with over 300 teachers. The teacher training sessions aim to enhance teachers’ toolkit of classroom skills and the leadership sessions promote sustainable teaching development by encouraging senior leaders to continue to teach these skills and monitor teaching performance at their respective schools.

Many of these teachers work with students from underprivileged backgrounds, who rely on the education system to provide safe and encouraging environments for them to develop. Working with the teachers from these schools allows us to learn more about the challenges facing students and teachers in Malawi, and to positively contribute to a system which is so impactful on young people’s wellbeing.

All funds raised will go towards funding further support for teacher development, providing teachers with much needed resources and training experiences.
