Water Pump Ṣadaqah Jāriyah Appeal in Celebration of Nazifa’s Alimiyyah Graduation

Alḥamdulillāh, by the grace and mercy of Allah, Nazifa Ahmed has completed her Alimiyyah journey. We wish to celebrate this special milestone in a way that reflects the values of our faith—through an act of ongoing charity that will continue to benefit others long after this occasion has passed.

Over these years of study, Nazifa’s journey has not been without its challenges. Alongside the demands of her studies, she has endured many difficulties and trials. Yet, through Allah’s help, she remained steadfast, patient, and committed to seeking sacred knowledge. This water pump project is our way of honouring not only her graduation but also the resilience, perseverance, and reliance upon Allah that have carried her through this journey.

In place of traditional graduation gifts, we invite you to contribute towards the installation of a clean water pump in Bangladesh. This project will provide a community in need with access to safe, life-giving water, bringing relief, dignity, and hope to families for years to come.

The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said:

“The best form of charity is giving someone water to drink.” (Musnad Ahmad)

Every drop of water drawn from this pump will, in shā’ Allāh, be a source of continuous reward (Ṣadaqah Jāriyah) for those who contribute and for Nazifa, whose graduation has inspired this initiative.

The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) also said:

“When a person dies, all their deeds come to an end except three: ongoing charity, beneficial knowledge, or a righteous child who prays for them.” (Sahih Muslim)

As Nazifa begins the next chapter of her journey, we pray that Allah accepts her knowledge, grants her sincerity, allows her to benefit His creation, and makes this water pump a lasting source of reward for everyone who contributes.
