School Iftar Programme – Bringing Communities Together
At Sunnah Charity, we are proud to partner with Chiltern Learning Trust to deliver the School Iftar Programme, an initiative that allows students, staff, and school communities to come together to experience the beauty of Ramadan and fasting.
Through this programme, we provide dates and water to schools across Luton, supporting students in breaking their fast at school. Over the past two years, the initiative has grown, with more and more schools signing up to take part. The School Iftar Programme not only provides a nourishing meal at the time of breaking fast but also fosters a deeper understanding of Ramadan, promoting unity, inclusivity, and a shared sense of community.
By taking part, schools embrace diversity, encourage interfaith learning, and create a welcoming space where students and staff can reflect on the values of compassion, patience, and gratitude—key principles of Ramadan.
Your support allows us to reach even more schools, ensuring that every student observing Ramadan has the opportunity to break their fast with ease and dignity.
